Description Steve 2011-03-31 22:20:05 CEST
Description of problem:
Version-Release number of selected component: 5.26.7-1.mga1

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open rpmdrake and select Media Manager from the Options menu.
2.Select the File menu and then select "Add a specific media mirror" and answer the questions.
3.Now a "Please Wait" window will open with the message "Downloading package `basic.Cauldron.x86_64.list?product=Default'" and after a minute or so the progress bar switches from 0% to 100% instantaneously.
4. This window remains like this for about 13 minutes and then the following "Error during download" message is displayed:

"There was an error downloading the mirror list:

retrieval of [/var/cache/urpmi/basic.Cauldron.x86_64.list?product=Default] failed

The network, or the Mageia website, may be unavailable. Please try again later."

I've tried running rpmdrake in a Konsole window to see if this gives any more information but there are no error/problems shown at all.

It just requires to release a new drakxtools, since it is fixed in /soft SVN

Source RPM: drakrpm-edit-media => drakxtools
