Description of problem:

Going through the locale questions during startup, default option for time was given as the second one, 06:13, that was the correct time so I selected it.

A few minutes later, working in live mode, noticed the time on the panel was showing as 05:20 which corresponded to the first option offered on startup.

Hi Carolyn,

I think this might be a duplicate of another report we have open (and which hopefully is fixed in the final release of mageia 2): bug 5851.

Can you see if running ntp (and perhaps starting it manually) sets the time correctly for you?
