Description Dave Hodgins 2012-05-16 03:24:09 CEST
During testing of the second final dvd iso image, ddebug.log has ...

* adding a reason to already rejected package libuClibc-zlib1-1.2.6-1.mga2.i586: unsatisfied libc.so.0.9.30.3
Comment 1 Dave Hodgins 2012-05-16 03:25:12 CEST
When the package requires is fixed, it needs to be updated on the iso
imagages.

Comment 2 Shlomi Fish 2012-05-16 16:23:42 CEST
Well, I can satisfy this requirement on a normal Mageia Cauldron system:

[root@lap ~]# u lib64uClibc-zlib1
urpmi --auto --keep --resume --noclean --downloader wget --wget-options -c lib64uClibc-zlib1
Package lib64uClibc-zlib1-1.2.6-1.mga2.x86_64 is already installed
WARNING: --keep option is in use. Some strange problems may happen

So shouldn't either this package be removed from the DVD ISO or alternatively the uClibc requirement satisfied? I don't understand why this is a zlib problem.

Regards,

I now realize this is simply another package missing from the
dvd
libuClibc0.9.30.3

I has assumed libc.so.0.9.30.3 would be a requires intended
to pick a version of libc.so.

Anne, please add libuClibc0.9.30.3 the the dvd iso.

added for now but it should have been pulled

Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

Thanks :)

Cheers,
marja
