Since mc is great and very useful recovery tool it should be added to LiveCDs if possible.

Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

I just checked and /usr/bin/mc is present in the final i586 Gnome live cd,
so closing as fixed.  Feel free to reopen if it's missing from other
live cd images.

Sorry, my eyes are getting tired. It has /usr/bin/mcc, not /usr/bin/mc.

Keeping as cauldron, as this will have to be for Mageia 3 live cds.

In Mageia alpha3 mc is present in both LiveCD and LiveDVD.
