Retried installation with out the /boot partition but same error message
Comment 2 Dave Hodgins 2012-05-05 21:30:13 CEST
Did the mount fail with status=32? If so, then this is
the same as bug 5745, however for me, I was able to mount
the filesystem in the shell, and it worked on a reboot,
so I couldn't recreate the error.

Yes, please try commenting out all non-required filesystems in fstab and reboot.
Comment 4 Dave Hodgins 2012-05-08 05:12:01 CEST
I just ran into this after an upgrade with the latest dual rc cd, and
consider this a release blocker.

This time, in the emergency shell, when I tried to mount the windows
filesystem, it failed with unknown filesystem vfat. I then tried
running modprobe vfat, and it failed with

libkmod: index_mmopen major version check faile 65537 instead of 2953311319

Severity: normal => critical

Comment 5 Dave Hodgins 2012-05-08 05:15:11 CEST
Also, in the emergency shell, no file systems were mounted, and
systemctl default just returns to the emergency shell.

Arrgh. Misread the report. Looks like a urpmi cascade error, which can
be found by searching for unselecting in the report.bug.gz.
Comment 8 Dave Hodgins 2012-05-08 05:40:08 CEST
Unsatisfied requires ...
libmozjs185.so.1.0
libdirect-1.5.so.0
libdirectfb-1.5.so.0
libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0

I think the rest are due to a cascade error.

These come from the packages
libmozjs185_1.0
libdirectfb1.5_0
libgtk+-x11-2.0_0
