NEEDINFO What kind of information can I provide to help to understand "what's wrong"? I don't have anything about this in my /root/drakx/* files. Thank you for reporting this. I have seen this too, during "configure X" during installation and not when run in installed system. https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4449#c10 CC:

fri In fact, now, with the same auto_inst, this error is in 'Users' step. No longuer in 'Configure X', so may come from installer, not X tools. Feels like some problem waiting to happen. Is there something we can do to track it down? Summary:

Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja 2 months later, no reply, closing as old. Please reopen when it is still valid for installing Mageia 2 final. In that case, put (MGA2) on the whiteboard Status:
