X segfaulted at first login with lxdm. It first showed a message that it had dropped to a text based login and then started lxdm anyway. After a few letters of the password being entered it dropped to tty1 text console.

I recovered some logs which show X segfaulted at login with a short backtrace which I'll attach.

I should say that after logging in as normal user in tty1, issuing startx did start the lxde desktop.

Tested here without any pb using also virtualbox

Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.
