Description Denis Prost 2012-04-25 10:06:39 CEST
when waking up from "suspend to RAM", my USB speedtouch firmware is not reloaded (which I can check from the idle modem lights). I have to unplug and plug in again the modem to get it loaded.
Not very annoying, but I did not have to do that with Mageia 1, the firmware was automatically reloaded after suspend.

Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

Thanks :)

Cheers,
marja

just some more information : to get the firmware reloaded, the "speedtch" module should be reloaded (rmmod speedtch && modprobe speedtch) : there were probably something somewhere in Mageia 1 that told the system to perform it after suspend, while it is gone in Mageia 2.

This is quiet old and I am not able to test it as I don't have the hardware. Is this still valid?
