Description etienne FR 2012-04-24 18:20:04 CEST
Hi,

i cannot connect to my local database with MySQL Workbench
But the service seems to run and i can use the command "mysql ..."
/etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld status
                                                                [ OK ]

the error in Workbench is :
Connecting to MySQL server localhost...
Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (111)

When i go to MCC - Services - mysqld is stopped but when i make start, no error.

can i ask you if you have the newest version? or is this beta2?

if this is cauldron, you should start it with "systemctl mysqld.service start"

the services in MCC don't yet work, afaik, there's a bug regarding that.
