Thierry what more info is needed? Ahh right, I was on the advanced screen on the first page, not after "next". I can see the steps now, but not sure what the problem will be. It's possibly because you're using nokmsboot.... if that would be the problem i wouldnt have the mageia boot image in any resolution and the problem is about the Mageia boot image disappear when using resolution > 1024x768 why would that be the case? kms affects the ability for the boot process to change resolutions, so it could easily interfere with things. Not saying it's the problem in this case, but I wouldn't discount it completely. Colin you were right, after i removed nokmsboot from grub, it then booted fine with Mageia boot image, so now we know what triggers the problem Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.
