Description Stephane LHUILLIER 2012-04-20 15:52:21 CEST
Description of problem: My computer has 2 screens connected. In systemsettings (KDE) I can set each screen settings (resolution, position [left or right of], main screen...).

But when I push the "Apply" button, all settings are missed, and nothing change. So I can't get my desktop in a extended working one...
Yesterday I was testing kubuntu 12.04 (KDE 4.8 as well), and setting the extended desktop was not a problem.

I'm wondering if there is any conflict : KDE systemsettings display manager vs mageia display manager...

I hope I was clear enough.

Thank you

Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

Thanks :)

Cheers,
marja
