Yes, that's a known issue, acceptable for now until urpmi/mirrors are fully sorted out.

This is a regression when upgrading a MDV box.

Can Wine32 be added to x86_64 mirrors instead of adding an i586 repository? Wine64 can't run through the menu and the command "wine".

No, x86_64 won't have i586 packages. The proper fix is that urpmi adds i586 Core Release repo to x86_64 installs by default.
Comment 8 David LUCAS 2011-03-06 00:27:45 CET
Wine32 can not be compiled for 64 bits cpu, but in the goal to run 32 bits windows apps ?
Comment 9 Jiang Yike 2011-03-06 00:43:19 CET
Wine64 doesn't work. I added an i586 core repository and installed Wine32. Wine32 works well.
Comment 10 Jiang Yike 2011-03-06 00:46:06 CET
Wine32 has a bug (Bug 235), because its operating interface can't show Chinese characters in Chinese locale.
Comment 11 D Morgan 2011-03-06 01:19:10 CET
please don't mix bugreports, here this is just about wine32 on 64bit not about bug 235.

Oh, I see. A bug report is just for a topic. Sorry!

Media definitions are now fixed on reference mirror, so it will soon be on a mirror near you.

all 32bit Core medias are now added by default ox x86_64,
with only core/release and core/updates enabled by default.
