hello everyone

i have a suggestion for what i prefer to see on mageia 2 panel than the other
one that i saw in last beta

so how about this look

from left to right you see (( menu / dolphin / terminal / mcc /
systemsettings / firefox / iconstask / systray / ksysguard / clock / trash ))

the reason i suggest those things

its because those are the most application that user always use

so what do you think about it

Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

What is used is very personal.
In my family only myself use terminal, and it is also only me that set up the computers using mcc and systemsettings, and I use Opera.

Besides, i have cleared most of from the panel so i better see the running programs, and ordered the menu and desktop to quickly launch programs.  Therefor i have little more than the menu and "show desktop" in the taskbar left part.

Best solution is if there is some instruction how to easily set it up as user wants.  I have not checked if such exist.

@Salim, please stop filing bugs that will affect the entire userbase to change certain preferences that you like. We cannot cater to everyone's individual preferences. Taste is very individual. What you like isn't necessarily what others like.
But you know what? One of the greatest strengths of Linux is its configurability. You can change your own settings and look to conform to what you think is best.

Maybe open a page on the Wiki showing how to easily set it up for other people who would like to change it.

you know why i do that

its because that there are some ideas that i wrote about it in mageia forum

and one of it's moderator said

you know what ..... i think your ideas should be in bugzilla page not ideas forum
