The default IceWM configuration that has existed in some form in mga/mdv for years has been removed somewhere between mga1 and mga2.  It looks like it was probably commit 181662 by zezinho that did it.  Some of the things missing that I noticed include the nice default toolbar configuration with launchers for xvt, firefox, and the Mageia Control Center, as well as the ability to shut down by clicking the arrow next to Logout in the main menu.

Many patches were removed by zezino in the "new version" commit. But he didn't mention why he removed them. I'll try to add back the default preference patches before release freeze.
