Description acar burak 2012-03-25 17:44:14 CEST
There's no k9copy in the repositories of Mageia KDE, but it is present in the repository in Mageia LXDE. (I'm dual booting Mageia KDE and Mageia LXDE.)
Comment 1 Dave Hodgins 2012-03-25 22:26:15 CEST
grep k9 /var/lib/urpmi/na*
/var/lib/urpmi/names.Core Release (distrib1):libpisock9
/var/lib/urpmi/names.Tainted Release Debug (distrib22):k9copy-debug

There is no k9copy in the repositories, just the debug
package, which for some reason is in tainted. Probably
because it requires libdvdcss2.

Do you have tainted enabled in one, and not the other?

Anyway, looks like there must have been a build failure
for k9copy.

Comment 2 acar burak 2012-03-25 22:37:08 CEST
Tainted is enabled in both of them.
Comment 3 acar burak 2012-03-26 17:18:00 CEST
After latest updates:

1 installation transactions failed

There was a problem during the installation:

k9copy < 2.3.8 is obsoleted by (installed) task-obsolete-2-11.mga2.tainted.noarch
Comment 4 James Kerr 2012-03-26 17:50:21 CEST
My memory may be "playing tricks" but I seem to recall seeing somewhere a message from, I think, mikala that k9copy is "dead upstream" and should be removed from the distro.

Apologies if I've mis-remembered.
Comment 5 Dave Hodgins 2012-03-26 20:22:22 CEST
Confirmed. It's dead.

Also, I think it hadn't been ported to qt4. I'll close this bug report
as invalid. Feel free to reopen if there is a maintained qt4 version.

Resolution: (none) => INVALID

Comment 6 Philippe Didier 2012-03-27 16:27:13 CEST
It's dead ...

but it works !

but yes : it had been ported to qt4, 2 years ago ...

but since the angry news announcing its death (july 2011) there's a new tarball 2.38 published in december 2011 by the author on sourceforge...

So ...
