Currently, if you do a urpmi.addmedia --distro for a 64-bit system, urpmi adds media for 64-bit nonfree and tainted (but does not enable them), but only adds media for Core 32.

Bug#4993 illustrates a scenario where 64-bit users need 32-bit packages from other than Core 32.

I think urpmi should be adding nonfree/tainted 32 as well (and leave them disabled).  Doing this manually is beyond most newbies, and having them in there but disabled should not cause any problems.

I completely agree and concur with Frank Griffin on the fact of adding nonfree and Tainted media 32-bit and let off by default.

That's not an urpmi bug.
urpmi.addmedia just follows what media.cfg says.

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

OK, then the noauto=1 should be removed from the entries for nonfree and tainted (if that's what's needed).  However, media.cfg doesn't show as belonging to any package, and I don't know what generates it.
