How reproducible: Always


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Clean Mageia-2-beta2-x86_64-DVD.iso install + updates 
   + radeon-firmware + kernel-firmware-nonfree-20120219-1 and reboot
2. default runlevel is 3
3. click up a terminal (I am using xterm)
4. su - root
5. dmesg > dmesg.log
6. search for cut here

Did not have the problem with all updates of beta1 as of last night.
