Don't know if networkmanager-applet is in the build queue, just a notice
for it. It is the only tool I miss in my test laptop install.
I prefer it largely over net_applet.

Could Mageia turn to have nm-applet as standard/default instead of net_applet ?

networkmanager-applet has been submitted so it should be soon available on your favourite mirror.
