Description of problem:

On the Politiek24 web site there is a video stream in wmv format that the Totem plugin can show.
However in a default Mageia setup (with tainted packages added) this doesn't work.

0.10.23

How reproducible:
Have seen this once

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://nos.nl/nieuws/live/politiek24/wmv/
2. Observe that the Totem plug-in offers to search for MMSH provider
3. Accept the offer

Actual results: 
Nothing happens

Expected results:
gstreamer0.10-mms is installed [or should be installed by default]

I suppose so, but it doesn't say packagekit as far as I recall.

I will mail the dev mailing to ask if we can fix this feature since codeina is deprecated.

seems not working :(

after a fresh install:
[manu@vosdook ~]$ totem

What is the output of following command?

/usr/sbin/update-alternatives --display gst-install-plugins-helper

Try installing packagekit-gstreamer-plugin

Perhaps that should be added as a suggests on totem.

Well, it is another problem, gstreamer0.10-wildmidi does not provide gstreamer0.10(decoder-audio/midi).

Maybe you should report another bug on gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad
