In a default Mageia installation the drakx-net-applet notification icon looks a bit the odd one out because it's the only icon in the notification area in full colour, while the other icons are symbolic (monochromatic) icons. drakx-net-applet should get symbolic icons too.

TBH, I prefer it to stay the way it is... I like the green "waves" telling me that I have a connection.

Anyway, this is an enhancement request.

This is not a blocker for Mga2.
I'm marking this as WONTFIX.
Submit a new bug later for Mga3 if you really think it necessary.
FYI, on the default laptop installation there's a nice green and colorful battery applet notification icon.
