RESOLVED Seems I tested it badly. I could try the LiveCD Beta3, and the bug is still there. As we have an open-source firmware available, the solution could be to include it in the Live CDs : b43-openfwwf should be required by all the kernels... Status:

REOPENED I commited something to meta-task that I hope will ensure b43-openfwwf is always installed : not only this worksaround this bug, but will also allow direct wifi use on LiveCD. Status:
