When I launch Cheese. It shows an error in the place of the
screen for the video. In a console, I get:
** CRITICAL **: cheese_camera_create_effects_preview_bin: assertion `error ==
NULL || *error == NULL' failed

** WARNING **: cheese-window.vala:1624: Error: Un ou plusieurs éléments
GStreamer sont manquants : vp8enc.

Vp8enc fails.
This happends when an USB webcam is connected.
gstreamer-plugins bad, base, ugly and good are in place.
With beta1 and update.

Please provide:
$ rpm -qa | grep vp8
and 
$ rpm -qa | grep cheese

Status: NEW => ASSIGNED
CC: (none) => mageia

Does your webcam work with guvcview?
Can you see it with lspcidrake -v or lsusb?

Sorry, but my system is crashed :(
I can not try anything any more. I will wait for beta2.

I have tried with MGA2 beta2.
guvcview works fine
Cheese works also, but take minutes to start.
When I take a photo, I get this in the console.
It can not register any photos nor video.
I will stop tries with this software as guvcview works fine.
