bernd.deinzer I can reproduce it here as well. I cannot start NetworkManager and it delays the boot. The temporary workaround is to disable NetworkManager by saying: systemctl stop NetworkManager.service systemctl disable NetworkManager.service (The capitals letters are important as I discovered). I'm not sure if people using GNOME will be able to start GNOME without NetworkManager. Regards, -- Shlomi Fish CC:

shlomif Please update to recent Cauldron, should work OK (at least with Ethernet and USB 3G dongle). There was a typo in new refactored NM code. The suspicious "<warn> failed to allocate link cache" still persists, so I can't tell if WiFi detection really works. Someone with a WiFi card, please test it. CC:
