Description Dimitri Jakov 2012-03-02 23:41:10 CET
Description of problem:

I have imported Farstream (a Farsight2 successor) as it was needed for new Empathy to build. Most likely I won't be able to maintain the package, so I'm asking to set somebody else as a maintainer, preferably Emmanuel Andry (eandry), since he maintains Farsight2.

Notes to future maintainer:

- I didn't introduce any "Obsoletes" and decided to leave it to the maintainer;
- I haven't changed package naming scheme, so the resulting package is libfarstream_0.1-0 (just like libfarsight2_0.10-0 was);
- some documentation is installed to /usr/share/gtk-doc/html/farstream-libs-0.10 (while it should be farstream-libs-0.1), I decided to leave it as is.

Good luck to the new maintainer! :)

We have not seen eandry for some months...

Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

Thanks :)

Cheers,
marja

@ Dimitri

Unfortunately eandry can't maintain any packages anymore :(

The information you put in comment 1, can that be added to the package itself, so that this report can be closed?
