Description of problem:

here's the error message provided during the install process :

Installation failed, some files are missing :
ftp://mageia.r0b0t.fr//linux/Mageia/distrib/cauldron/i586/media/core/release/polkit-desktop-policy-0.104-1.mga2.noarch.rpm
you may need to update your rpmi database

How reproducible: installation with boot.iso CD on Virtualbox machine.


Steps to Reproduce:
1.download http://www.mageia.org/fr/downloads/get/?q=Mageia-2-beta1-Boot-i586-CD.iso
2.start install on your VM whith 'FTP server' install method
3. choose default choices when asked
4. choose mageia2 medium when asked
5. choose mageia.r0b0t.fr as mirror
install starts

Hi,

Are you certain this is reproducable? wget'ing the indicated file works for me.

Status: NEW => UNCONFIRMED

It was probably a temporary problem, when the mirror was in the middle of a synchronization.
