Otto, when opening a bug please use the bug template that appears to specify the description of the problem and the steps of to reproduce the problem. If you don't tell us that it will be harder to understand your problem, more if english isn't your native language. Reading what you posted it isn't clear to me what is your issue. If I'm understanding you right, what you are saying is that when you try to logout of KDE, be it restart or shutdown you can't and you are taken again to the login screen (KDM) ? if that's what you are trying to say then I can confirm this issue on cauldron. juan.baptiste Juan Luis Baptiste, Exactly! when I try to logout of KDE, be it shutdown or whatever, I can't and I am taken again to the login screen (KDM) and I have to find out another way to shut it down.
