(none) 1.5.2-5.1.mga2 submited in core/updates_testing for mageia 2. Suggested advisory: A bug in cups caused most command line tools, such as lpstat, to shows just a bunch of empty lines as output for some locales. The corrected package fixes this issue. Assignee:

juergen.harms Tested on x86-64 and i586 With LC_MESSAGES = DE.de: before installing update, lpstat -a or lpstat -t both print a couple of empty lines. With the update package installed the result is correct. No regression observed when installing a new printer and using it Advisory: --------- A bug in cups caused most command line tools, such as lpstat, to shows just a bunch of empty lines as output for some locales. The corrected package fixes this issue. SRPM: ----- cups-1.5.2-5.1.mga2.src.rpm Sysadmin: please push the package from updates_testing to updates Keywords:

lpstat -a just output blank lines. Sniffing traffic with cups server shows than server response is OK, but strace shows than lpstat just output end of lines: ... stat("/etc/localtime", {st_mode=S_IFREG|0644, st_size=2945, ...}) = 0 write(1, "\n", 1 ) = 1
