Description Stephen Liberty 2012-02-17 23:00:19 CET
Description of problem:
When using libre office, if I don't open the program in a console and alt+tab around it will crash, seemingly at random. I've only noticed it while using Calc, but I cannot confirm that it is limited to that program.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
LibreOffice 3.4.4

How reproducible:
Open the program via the menu, or by double clicking on a spreadsheet in the documents folder.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find a spreadsheet and open it with libreoffice calc
2. Open a few other windows, such as a browser, an IDE, kwrite, etc.
3. Alt tab between them a few times.

This again seems to be at random. If someone can tell me how to enable heavy logging or something for the program I can get more information. Also, as an important note, it doesn't seem have this behavior when opening in a terminal.

Hi, is libreoffice-kde installed ? if yes does it work better if you remove it ?

Source RPM: (none) => libreoffice

I won't really be able to report back until Tuesday, as it is my work computer that has this odd behavior. If I have time this weekend I'll try and set it up on a VM though and see what happens.

Came in and tried to reproduce it again and nothing happened. I'm going to chalk this up to KDE becoming unstable, as I don't log off for weeks at a time. Consider it closed and if it happens again we'll take it from there.
