Description of problem:


add a new type of wlan connection : open wlan requiring to fill a template with id and password

for some hotspot 
when you activate a connection
if you try to access to any web address with your internet explorer
then
the hotspot send a web page which is a template to fill with an id and password
then
you can access to internet

this would very handy if the software which connects to the hotspot automaticaly send the id and password to the hotspot

i found a kind of script which do that

this script must be adapted to the mageia method i assume

mageia does not use either networkmanager or wicd

i follow the progress of plasma nm since one year
plamsa nm uses networkmanager

it seems now networkmanager is a mature technology

perhaps it would be a good thing that mageia use it ?

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

Sorry, but this bug saw no action since more than 2 yrs ago. 
No cauldron package has stayed the same since then.
