thierry.vignaud "eject /dev/sr0" is working too grep -r "/dev/cdrom" /usr/* 2>/dev/null <- this is showing a lot of results, I suggest we add a fallback for /dev/cdrom in case of making it deprecated Adding eject committer to the cc of this report. If Sophie doesn't fool me, nothing changed to eject in cauldron (still version eject-2.1.5-9.mga1). CC:

dmorganec, marja11 Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja Keywords:

(none) In mga3, mga4, and cauldron we (now) have symlinks cdrom, cdrw, dvd, dvdrw depending on the device type. AFAICT they are created by /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/60-cdrom_id.rules . Closing as fixed. Status:
