Since the Linux distribution Pardus have problem and will be gone soon I think you could take some solutions from them.
Especially Kaptan:

I would like to see this in Mageia and as standard in the KDE desktop in general.

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

It looks like all the links for Pardus resources are now dead links, I did a quick search but could find no real repository to look at. At those seem to be specific tools developed for the Pardus distro, and for KDE4, I'm not sure they would be relevant for us with Plasma 5 in Mageia 6, so I'll close this issue as WONTFIX.
