Description of problem: After the installation of the nvidia driver for my NVIDIA GeForce graphic card in MCC (Mageia Control Center) I got this message: "You need to log out an back in again for changes to take effect". So I confirm this ("Ok") and I log out, but X server does not restart. Message in Ctrl-Alt-F12: "X server for display :0 can not be started, session disabled" Furthermore, should the system not reboot after this, to enable DKMS to install the kernel module nvidia-current ? Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Alpha 2 How reproducible: ? Steps to Reproduce: 1. In MCC (Mageia Control Center) configure your graphic card 2. Message: "There is a proprietary driver available. Do you want to use it?" -> YES 3. Mageia installs some new packages 4. Message: "You need to log out and back in again for changes to take effect" -> Ok 5. I log out 6. Result: terminal login screen (as seen with Ctrl-Alt-F1). Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
