shikamaru There is a new version (2.1.2 : http://rubyforge.org/frs/download.php/76012/rubysdl-2.1.2.tar.gz) that I have successfully compiled and used in Mageia 1 and 2.

Created attachment 1400 [details] A tarball containing Ruby SDL sources and a SPEC file Hello, Mandriva provided in Contrib Ruby bindings for SDL in a package named "ruby-sdl". I developed a game (onetofive.sf.net) that depends on this package. So, here is a tarball that contains the sources and a SPEC file to have the lastest version of ruby-sdl in Mageia. Thank you for all your work on this great linux distribution.
