mageia, marja11, pterjan Actually the problem is that it does nt suspend at all. It stays to a non wake-up state I tried to suspend after have launched this command: echo LID > /proc/acpi/wakeup which i found here: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16512 then, i have the suspend because now i have the light with the half moon flashing. But after i cannot wake it up and after pressed on the power button once , to wake it up, it remains in the statement in my first message. @ Dimitrios Did you try without X running, as suggested here https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Triage_guide#Suspend.2FHibernate_issues @ tmb Could this be a kernel issue? (In reply to comment #3) > @ tmb > > Could this be a kernel issue? and now really cc'ing CC:

2 (In reply to comment #9) > I still have the problem in Mageia 2 If you have the problem in cauldron too, then please change version to cauldron and put MGA2TOO on the whiteboard. If you know it didn't get fixed in Mageia 1, then please put MGA1TOO on the whiteboard (too) I have the same problem with an gma500_gfx : Intel Corporation|Atom Processor D2xxx Integrated Graphics Controller [DISPLAY_VGA] (rev: 09) on a ASUS EccPC R11CX running kernel-desktop586-3.3.8-2.mga2â or kernel-netbook-3.3.8-2.mga2 pm-hibernate works fine though.
