dmorganec The problem apparently disappeared after several updates, but a new appeared. I got funny screen corruptions during the work .... random black boxes and sometimes colored mess inside ..... like parts of the memory being written to the screen. I did a restart and the net applet crashed immediately. I was able to reproduce the screen corruption 3 times. The attached picture shows the net_applet crash dialog and You can also notice those black boxes on top of the screen (and a home icon that replaced a part of the black boxes). I will also attach a short video demonstrating the corruption being dependent on the keyboard input. Created attachment 1451 [details]
net_applet crash with systemd
Here's the video : http://tavvva.net/files/bugs/systemd/P1320341.MOV A better one ... http://tavvva.net/files/bugs/systemd/P1320344.MOV Maybe it isn't apparent from my previous posts, but these issues are present with systemd ONLY. There seem to be serious memory errors in systemd which could possibly cause the previous frozen states and now it makes my system unstable and unusable. I'm willing to collect any useful debug data prior to future updates (which could possibly change the behaviour again and we could lose our chance to collect anything useful). what about this bug with systemd 40 ? no problems encountererd with 40 yet ... so i close the bugreport. Please reopen it if the bug reappear. Status:
