Description Frédéric "LpSolit" Buclin 2011-12-28 15:19:07 CET
Summary: perl-JSON-RPC - JSON-RPC sever for mod_perl2â

sever? You mean server? And this has nothing to do with mod_perl2, AFAIK.

Description:

This module is a smple code (for Perl 5.6 or later). Please check the source.

PROCEDURES
* echo

Takes a scalar and returns it as is.

This means absolutely nothing. smple is sample? Why check the source? What is PROCEDURES * echo?? Takes a scalar and returns it as is. Wrong!

Comment 2 Jerome Quelin 2012-01-01 14:16:17 CET
fixed in perl-JSON-RPC-1.10.0-2.mga2 (currently building)
fyi, the summary & description are automatically extracted from cpan when packaging the module. they are not updated later on, even if upstream does. so thank you for reporting this kind of problems that can go un-noticed quite a long time.

@manuel (comment 1): this kind of bug are easy to tackle. it might be interested to tag them as junior jobs, adding me as cc: only. if it hasn't been fixed in say 1 or 2 weeks, then assign it to me so i can solve it. (i don't know whether there are actually people working on junior jobs).

anyway, marking bug as resolved.

manuel, re-adding you as cc: on this (closed) bug so you can read what i wrote in comment 2 about junior jobs.

Ah yes indeed I have forget the junior_job keyword, sorry. I will do that the next time. :)

but yes nobody seems to work on it (and on the bugs with patch) I need to warn padawans/mentors. :/
