Description JeanClaude Colette 2011-12-27 01:58:26 CET
Description of problem:

libmpfr.la is a file created by libtool witch contains a reference on libgmp.la not in the /usr/lib directory.

So when libtool links against libmpfr, it looks for libgmp.la which don't exists.

Could you please re-pack libmpfr and especially not install libmpfr.la in /usr/lib

Hi, thanks for reporting this bug.
Assigned to the package maintainer.

(it's normal that the package is not in x86_64 ? )

(Please set the status to 'assigned' if you are working on it)

Hi,

I didn't know for non existence of x86_64 package.
Comment 3 Dimitri Jakov 2011-12-27 21:35:18 CET
Updated to the latest upstream version and removed a .la file. Please test compilation against the package and report if everything is OK.

By the way, the x86_64 packages for mprf are available for both Mageia 1 and Cauldron, there must have been some confusion.
