Triaged The timezone package is affected by this as well (and is related to these). what is the timezone version in mdv 2010.2 please ? The rootcerts package is also affected by and related to this. The relevant package versions: icedtea-web-1.0.6-0.1mdv2010.2 java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0-24.b22.1mdv2010.2 timezone-2011m-1.1mdv2010.2 rootcerts-20111103.00-1mdv2010.2

icedtea-web and version is older than MDV 2010.2 for rootcert i will just ask a rebuild as this is because we have rootcerts-20111103.00-0.1.mga1.src.rpm in mageia Please test : icedtea-web java-1.6.0-openjdk timezone rootcerts from updates_testing So this basically boils down to the Java browser plugin. Is there any particular site or procedure you would like me to use to test it? dmorgan, ok to reassign this bug to the QA for icedtea ? and open/use other bugs for the other packages ? critical Installed icedtea-web from updates_testing. It installs and works fine according to: http://java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp It says that a Java update is available, likely because java-1.6.0-openjdk is still out of date. Testing complete on i586 for the srpm icedtea-web-1.1.4-0.1.mga1.src.rpm used http://java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp and a java speedtest for testing. CC:
