Description of problem:
Mageia alpha2 does not boot on HP Pavilion dv5

How reproducible:
Mageia alpha2 does not boot on HP Pavilion dv5.
Last line on boot:
Starting udev OK

Then the system freezes.
Comment 1 egc 2011-12-17 04:16:03 CET
I forget to say: this happens starting Mageia alpha2 from usb stick.
Comment 2 egc 2011-12-20 02:40:06 CET
ok, sorry again, alpha2 does continue booting after the line
Starting udev [OK]
but only after a few minutes .

And then it reports some errors about usb which i couldn't really read because they passed by too quickly.

issue for udev is in another bug, so if you can't provide more info, not sure we can help you
Comment 4 egc 2011-12-22 03:17:53 CET
