mageia, thierry.vignaud yes, but isn't it too reduntat? it's obvious that if i select italian keymap, i want italian language and probably i live in italy. we could simplify the various steps in only one and keeping an entry like "Advanced mode" for particular cases... what do you think? That I know many users who have a keyboard and/or use a language that isn't standard for the country they live in. This already gives problems and bug reports now, i'm afraid that'll get worse if your solution is chosen. CC:

djmarian4u Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja Keywords:

NEEDINFO yep, still valid, but I'd prefer it to be a WONTFIX Putting (MGA2) on the whiteboard to show that was the last installer version so far that did not have this "enhancement" Keywords:

(none) Mageia 4 Live still has the multi-step process, thankfully. I picked language-Australian, keyboard-US, timezone, Sydney. I don't believe any automated process would be able to pick those up. I'll make this closed - wontfix and the reporter can reopen it if he desires. Status:
