Opps. 4. grep grep sed /var/log/messages | grep file
should be  4. grep sed /var/log/messages | grep /etc/

If you mean the package suspend. I do not think so. I am through with my phase 1 testing and have started customizations. I removed dmraid-events, dmraid which I have to guess did not remove it. I also removed the resume= from the grub boot line which I guess has no relevance to the problem.

rpmdrake did not show the package installed. This is a clean install of Mageia-2-alpha1-x86_64-DVD.iso all package groups selected except LSB, LXDE and Other Graphical managers.

not sure that it's a real bug as suspend to disk/ram work. (I guess ? :) )

Source RPM: (none) => suspend

AFAICS, /etc/suspend.conf is provided by the suspend package:

[13:25] <marja> :findfile /etc/suspend.conf
[13:25] <Sophie> find in (Mageia, *, *) : suspend

So if you want that file, you'll have to install suspend

I do not want the error message or the file or suspend.

I should not be betting dbus error messages about a default out of the box install.

Problem does not show up on clean Mageia-2-rc-x86_64-DVD.iso install.
