When a LiveCD is loaded (or a USB with same effect), MCC should automagically display an icon on the "opening page" (Software management) which enables installing Mageia from the loaded LiveCD.

why should?

Comment 2 Manuel Hiebel 2011-12-05 18:28:48 CET
I don't see why drakconf should do that
Comment 3 Dick Gevers 2011-12-05 18:36:07 CET
It would appear to me to be the most obvious place to look for when setting up your box to use Mageia, esp. if there is no LiveCD Install icon visible.

That's useless. Either you have mageia with mga's mcc and there is no point or you're running another OS which we cannot do anything at all.

When running LiveCD you can have nothing, or anything but Mageia.
