Description Fryderyk Mazurek 2011-11-30 22:11:15 CET
Description of problem:

Add support for Intellimouse Mode in ALPS touchpad on Dell Latitude series Laptops. This bug is already fixes in ubuntu and I'm think the patch should be merge with mageia kernel source.

Reported bug in ubuntu bug system: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/632884 .

Patch: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git?p=ubuntu/ubuntu-maverick.git;a=commitdiff;h=bd79df42218fe1db5e683b567791d4bb97b60685 .

I compiled a newest megeia kernel (kernel-source-3.1.4-1.mga2-1-1.mga2) with this patch and it's resolved my problem.

After install kernel-desktop-3.3.0-0.rc6 I see that this problem is already fixed and I don't need any additional patch. So this bug is resolved now.
