Triaged i can confirm this except i have a wired connection i disconnected wired connection i checked the allow interface to be controlled by Network Manager option then clicked connect it would not i unchecked the option and it connected right away hardware: onboard intel corp 82540em GB eth controller plugged into my netgear router CC:
