This has been this way for years.
I'm not sure that switching to regular "'" would be actually better

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

If it was fixed in Mageia 3, how about reporting it against Mageia 3 and closing as RESOLVED FIXED?
We won't provide an update to Mageia 2 just for that. It might be included in later updates if the fix was applied to the Mageia 2 branch too.

According to comment 8 this was fixed in Mageia 3. We probably won't provide an update for this to Mageia 2, so closing as WONTFIX.
