Description of problem:

A little front-end for cdemu daemon called kde-cdemu not found in repositories of Mageia. It is available for Mandriva 2010.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Install Sofware section in MCC
2. Select all packages and enter cdemu in search box
3. You will see packages cdemu-client, cdemu-daemon, gcdemu and no kde-cdemu

Setting version to cauldron to improve the chance that someone will package it even more. When it is in cauldron, it'll be in the next stable release.

Current kde-cdemu-manager 0.3.1 doesn't support cdemu 1.4.0 which we have in cauldron.

Also, the gCDEmu version 1.4.0 (i.e. cauldron/mga2, not mga1) is now a standard tray icon application which works in KDE as well, and seems nicer to use to me than the old kde-cdemu-manager.

I don't think it is worthwhile to package and fix the bugs (e.g. bug #3468) of kde-cdemu-manager just for mga1, or to start maintaining it for cauldron when the better-maintained gcdemu works better even in KDE.

However, I've no problem with it if someone wants to do it, so I'll leave this open for now.

I`ve read that GCDemu is now independent and not Gnome applet. But problem is that it is only for cdemu 1.4.0 that is not available for Mageia 1. Amd GCDemu 1.3.0 is not working under KDE. However CDemu is not working in Mga1 also :)
So if CDemu and GCDemu 1.4.0 will be available for Mga1 that would be great and there will be no need for KDECDemu :)

Closing as OLD, since we stopped supporting Mageia 1 years ago, and because we still have gcdemu 

At the same time assigning to kde team, in case they disagree ;-)
