See http://www.mageia.org/en/downloads/ : - rewritten headline for DVDs, - added warning text, - rewritten headline for boot.iso as well. But nonetheless, we need to decide how we present ISOs to download - more and more ISOs to choose from rebutes the novice user; choice is good; too much choice kills choice. But that's a separate problem. Status:

ASSIGNED /me thinks the changes solve the issue of this bug. Thx Romain.
As long as the descriptions are meaningful to the unknowing user and as long as the list fits on one page (without much scrolling around) we should not bother.
The alternative would be splitting in several pages (quick shot suggestion).
1. Download page lists sections only with links to the section pages. Sections are "Live", "Full", "Other"). For each section write a description of the key features and differences of the isos of this section compared with those of the other sections. Put weight on the free/non-free issue. Link to the section page.
("Others" are dualarch, boot.iso)
2. Each section page lists the ISOs of the section (including checksum) in the way it is displayed now on the current download pageCC:

molch.b Cool. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll see for the next alpha. Status:
