Description Christian Lohmaier 2011-11-16 17:40:20 CET
The netbook kernel doesn't include capi modules, making it impossible to use ISDN devices, either locally attached or via remote-capi (like for example with fbrcapi http://fbrcapi.v3v.de/fbrcapi.html for the Fritz!Box (and rebranded copies))

I have to reboot to the regular desktop kernel when I need to send a fax or want join a telephone conference.

I understand that using remote capi (or ISDN/CAPI to begin with) can be considered a corner case¹, but it's a little annoyance for me, hence this report.

[1] after all neither of fbrcapi, ant-phone or capisuitefax is available in the repos and have to be compiled/installed manually
