Product: Mageia Reporter: Felipe Monteiro de Carvalho <felipemonteiro.carvalho.brasil>
Component: InstallerAssignee: Mageia Bug Squad <bugsquad>
Status: RESOLVED INVALID QA Contact:
Severity: enhancement
Priority: Normal CC: thierry.vignaud

Target Milestone: ---
Hardware: i586
OS: Linux

Status comment:

Description Felipe Monteiro de Carvalho 2011-11-14 10:27:44 CET
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start installing Mageia
2. In the step Choose your Timezone press the right of left arrow key with focus on the treeview and an item selected

Also for all other tree views in the installer.

Result:

Nothing happens

Expected result:

When pressing the right keyboard arrow items should open themselves. When pressing the left keyboard arrow you should go back 1 level in the tree or if this is an opened item it should be closed.

More details:

I managed to reproduce this both in a normal HP Compaq desktop and also when installing Mageia in a Parallels Desktop virtual machine in a MacBook, so it seams that anywhere the bug should be present.

Of course you do know those keys never work with gtk+, either in the installation or when running gtk+ tools such as gimp on your desktop, don't you?

Gtk+ binds "+" & "-" for this
