I tried to reproduce this in Cauldron KDE Plasma, but am not sure I took the same steps as you. First I did: 1.Open TeXmacs 2.Write something in. 3.Save the file as /home/marja/Documenten/Tex/abcdéf.tm 4 close TeXmacs 5 Open TeXmacs 6 Click on the icon to load a file 7 Click on abcdéf.tm 8 It does correctly open the just created file. However, then I closed TeXmacs again, and used Dolphin to go to /home/marja/Documenten/Tex/ After right clicking on abcdéf.tm and selecting GNU TeXmacs to open it, TeXmacs starts, but, like with you, it claims that /home/marja/Documenten/Tex/abcdéf.tm cannot be loaded and a new file is created. So, both cauldron and Mga 9 have a problem here, but I'm not sure it is exactly the same problem. There is no registered maintainer, so assigning to all packagers collectively. Did you click on the file using a file manager, (if so, which one?), or did you click on it inside TeXmacs when you hit this issue? Version:

Cauldron I have two ways to get this bug. 1) Right clicking on the file in the file manager (Dolphin). TexMacs starts... Error message, new file ; 2) Loading from the TeXmacs "Load icon" (near the "New file icon") and selecting the file in recent files. No error message, but I get a white page. But I've no issue with the File menu, Load, selecting the file in the window TeXmacs just opened to do it. |
